The Operating Microscope is a equipment used in the Hospitals / Clinics / Operating Room.

Operating Microscope is used for Eye Surgery, which is performed by Ophthalmologists.

The Ophthalmic Microscope has a Binocular Head that is angled, fixed at 45degree.

 ENT Surgery is performed by ENT (ear nose throat) Surgeon on their patients.

The ENT Microscope has a 90 degree straight Binocular Head.

 Focal distances of the Objective Lens vary, depending on the application used i.e.

For Ophthalmic use or for ENT/Dental use.

The Surgeon, who performed Surgeries on Brain, is known as Neurosurgeons.

The Microscope used by the Neurosurgeon is generally similar to an ENT Operation Microscope.

Eyepieces are usually 10x but sometimes 12.5x.

The typical objectives (bottom lens) are F175, 200 and F250.

For more special applications, F300, F350, and F400 Objective Lens can also be provided.

These change the focal distance, and result in different magnifications and different working distances.

However, Operating Microscope comes with the Motorized foot controlled system,

 For hands-free focusing.

Various Optional Accessories and features can be added with an operating microscope.

Beam Splitters to split the image to an optional c-mount (Camera Mount)

 Where a CCD Camera can be attached.

These CCD Camera have NTSC or PAL video output signals to be taken to a CCTV viewing / display monitor.
